This Naples, Florida residence, was designed for a couple with a vision for a modern, but warm, natural, private, and inspiring live/work environment. A home that could expand to accommodate large gatherings of family and friends as needed. The design responds to the goal of creating an uncluttered, indoor-outdoor living space. That would maximize functionality and efficiency. But, still providing intimate views of the surrounding lush landscape.

Being located within a dense development between the Gulf Coast and the busy Downtown, the house wants to create a private oasis, surrounded by a subtropical landscape. Indoor spaces bleed into the courtyards, enabling inhabitants to fully connect with the outdoors.

The Main House consists of a large, L-shaped space in which bedroom, kitchen/dining, living, and working all connect around the main living space and kitchen. Big openings let the entertainment areas spill to the outside.
