7th  Street  Residence

Coming from a family of art collectors and design enthusiasts, the client sought to honor iconic Eichler mid-century modern homes — reinterpreted with a simpler, more contemporary twist.

Completed in 2016, this one-story, three-bedroom, two-bath residence sits on a compact site with an existing pool, which we resurfaced and integrated into the new landscape design. Inspired by Eichler homes, the design emphasizes a seamless transition between indoors and out — an essential biophilic gesture. The entry planter begins outside and continues through the interior, drawing nature in and guiding visitors toward expansive glass sliders that open to a covered deck and the pool beyond.

The exterior palette is primarily painted stucco, complemented by wood siding accents and a bold roof fascia. Inside, the interiors are intentionally simple, with polished concrete floors throughout and high ceilings with exposed structural beams in the main living area.

In 2017, H-Level received a Design Award from the AIA SWFL Chapter for Built-Design for this project.
