Hlevel provided design documents for a simple exotic retreat in Panama. This 2 story bungalow will be constructed primarily of timber taken from the immediately adjacent trees and built by natives to the area. The retreat is situated to maximize views over the Bahia Del Almte. There will be no glazing in the entire house, only insect screens. Large overhangs and cross ventilation are designed to minimize the heat and eliminate water infiltration . A roof terrace is provided to capture amazing sunrises and sunsets.
