Cohousing study for developmentally disabled.
Hlevel were asked to help create a study for Noah’s Ark (previously called Osprey Village) of Southwest Florida. Because, we wanted to be able to offer low-cost residential rentals, while promoting independence and a high quality of life for the developmentally disabled.
There will be a choice of two types of residences available. Firstly there are group homes, these will house thirty-six residents. In addition to group buildings which will house ninety-two residents.
Naples/Ft. Myers is the perfect location for the newly devised Noah’s Ark Community. The plan includes a choice of affordable housing, with a secure gated entrance, nature preserve, community lake, clubhouse, lazy river, pool, bike and walking paths. There will also be an on-site store, hydroponics garden, administration offices and a hotel for residents’ guests and public use for guests with disabilities.
It will maintain independence in a community with onsite care.
